How To Schedule an Onsite Workshop

Would you like to schedule an onsite project management workshop for your organization? We can arrange to conduct either Project Management Basics or Planning Successful ID Projects for your organization at any location you choose. Below is a Gantt chart summary and detailed description of what's involved. [Printing note: To print this document, please set your printer's page format to "Landscape," otherwise the chart below will be clipped.]

Steps in Arranging an Onsite Workshop

  1. The first step is to e-mail Michael Greer a quick note with your contact information including: your name, telephone number, fax number, address, time zone, when you'd like Greer to call you, and any pertinent information you'd like to share about your PM situation. Send your note to: greers_pm@yahoo.com
  2. Shortly after receiving your e-mail, Greer will contact you and arrange a phone discussion to discuss your unique requirements.
  3. Based on this discussion, Greer will prepare and fax you a workshop proposal tailored to your needs. At this time, he will also fax you a detailed workshop outline, agenda, and other background information.
  4. Next, you will need to review Greer's proposal and obtain the approval of your organization's management team.
  5. After your organization has approved his proposal, Greer will set up a time for a telephone conference call during which you and any local project management leaders will discuss any PM "best practices," special issues or problems, organization-specific PM tools, and local PM heroes who might participate in a leadership role in the workshop. During this conference call, everyone will walk through the detailed workshop outline and decide specific emphases and strategies for the course.
  6. Following the planning session, Greer will prepare your custom-tailored handouts, presentation materials, and other workshop elements.
  7. Shortly before the workshop begins, you will need to identify and schedule a site for the workshop. At this time you might also be asked to circulate Greer's special Pre-Class Assignment to all workshop participants.
  8. Finally, on the appointed date, Greer will present his intensive, interactive workshop for your organization.

To get the ball rolling, all you need to do is e-mail Michael Greer today at greers_pm@yahoo.com

We look forward to hearing from you!
